Awareness Walk 2017 Registration

Join the Facial Paralysis & Bell’s Palsy Foundation at Shoreline Aquatic Park in Long Beach on Sunday, October 15th, for our 4th annual Facial Paralysis Awareness Walk!  Bring your family members and friends, along with your walking shoes, bikes, and even pets, for an afternoon of fun!

We will begin at
1:00 p.m. with registration/welcome, and then depart at 1:30 p.m. for our walk. We will have two route options this year – a one-mile fun walk around the lighthouse, along with a two-mile walk/jog/run option along the lovely Shoreline Village.

We will then regroup at the park for an ice cream social provided by Long Beach Creamery.  Enjoy a silent auction, face painting, entertainment, speakers, and awesome door prizes!

Silent auction items include:

  • 4 one-day tickets to Disneyland
  • 4 tickets to brunch at the Queen Mary
  • 2 tickets to the Aquarium of the Pacific, along with lunch at Islands Restaurant

Door prizes include:

  • Tickets to Hollywood Wax Museum
  • Tickets to the Laugh Factory in Long Beach
  • Restaurant gift cards
  • And other fun giveaways!

Location:   Shoreline Aquatic Park, 308 Golden Shore, Long Beach, California (next to the Aquarium of the Pacific).  Public parking is available in the parking garage next to the aquarium, and at nearby lots.

Special Guests:   Will include Dr. Babak Azizzadeh, Jackie Diels, Dr. Faye Wachs, comedian Brian Apprille, Mary Jo Buttafuoco, and many others!

Registration:  There is a suggested donation of $25 per person or $45 per couple/family for the awareness walk (t-shirt and ice cream included).  We will pre-order t-shirts in your requested size if you indicate in the registration form.

Please complete the registration form below so that we can pre-order t-shirts in your desired sizes.  Payment can be made easily through our PayPal link on our registration form.
